General Terms and Conditions of Contract
PRIOR INFORMATION
Equinoccio Viajes, S.A.L., in compliance with the provisions of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, informs the Client of the website, prior to the provision of the service, of the procedures and obligations that must be carried out for the effective conclusion of the contract: a. The Client undertakes to read carefully the content of the Terms of Contract, both the General Terms and the Particular Terms set out in the electronic order. b. To enter the personal data and additional information essential for the provision of the service. Through the provisions set out in these Terms, Equinoccio Viajes guarantees full compliance with the applicable regulations on the protection of Consumers and Clients, safeguarding their legitimate interests from the beginning to the end of the process of contracting the products and services supplied through the website.
IDENTIFICATION OF THE PARTIES
On the one hand, Equinoccio Viajes, S.A.L. (hereinafter Equinoccio Viajes), with registered office at calle Prim, 29, 20006 San Sebastián (Guipúzcoa), with Tax ID (CIF) A-48476030 and CIE 2050 M/M, registered in the Commercial Registry of Gipuzkoa, Vol. 1784, Fol. 191, Sheet SS-16573, is the owner of the portal https://internationalcheesefestival.equinoccioeventos.com/ and makes this portal available to Internet users for the purpose of booking the products offered. And on the other hand, the User, whose identifying data are those provided directly by the User through the entry of their data into the various forms that Equinoccio Viajes makes available to access any of the services offered through the website owned by Equinoccio Viajes. This necessarily entails the collection of personal data, and therefore responsibility for the authenticity of such data lies directly and exclusively with the User.
PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT
The purpose of these Terms governing the provision of services is to regulate access to and the conditions for acquiring the services and content provided by Equinoccio Viajes to the Client through its website, constituting the legal framework that develops the contractual relationship. MODIFICATION OF THE TERMS OF CONTRACT
Equinoccio Viajes may modify these stipulations whenever there is sufficient cause or reason to do so. Sufficient cause or reason for modification is understood to exist, by way of example and not limitation, when the purpose of the modification is to:
Expand the range or number of services made available to Clients, or improve existing ones.
Modify, replace or update the prices of the services offered through the website.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Client expressly releases Equinoccio Viajes from all liability for direct and indirect damages arising from any errors or omissions on the website, from any interruption, suspension, delay or anomaly in access to it, or from the consequences that the foregoing may cause to the provision of the service. Likewise, the Client releases Equinoccio Viajes from any fraud or illegitimate use by third parties of the contracted object. All of the foregoing applies in any instance and notwithstanding any other provision set out in these Terms of Contract. Equinoccio Viajes undertakes to take the utmost care to keep the website free from any viruses, trojans and other elements that could compromise or damage the computer system of the Client or of third parties. In this regard, the User is informed of and gives their consent to the incorporation of their data into the automated files owned by Equinoccio Viajes, domiciled at Calle Prim, 29, 20006 – San Sebastián (Guipúzcoa), duly registered with the General Registry for the Protection of Personal Data, and to the automated processing of their data resulting from the consultation, request or contracting of any service, or from any transaction or operation carried out, for the purpose of accessing the information and services provided by Equinoccio Viajes through the website, and, where applicable, for the maintenance of the contractual relationship, as well as for the sending of offers or advertising and promotional communications. The User declares that all the data they provide are true and accurate, and undertakes to notify Equinoccio Viajes of any changes to them. The User has the right to object to the processing of any of their data that are not essential for the conclusion of the contract, and to their use for any purpose other than the maintenance of their contractual relationship. The privacy policy of Equinoccio Viajes guarantees the User, in any event, the possibility of exercising their right of access, rectification, cancellation and objection regarding their data, by notifying Equinoccio Viajes via email to the address clientes@reservasequinoccioviajes.com. Likewise, and in compliance with Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, Equinoccio Viajes shall send offers or advertising and promotional communications by electronic means to your email address, or through any other equivalent means of electronic communication, exclusively to those Users who have expressly given their consent. Equinoccio Viajes informs the User that they may unsubscribe from this type of communication by following the instructions that appear at the end of all our emails, or by notifying us in writing to the email address clientes@reservasequinoccioviajes.com
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES
a. Obligations of EQUINOCCIO VIAJES: Equinoccio Viajes undertakes to fulfil the following contractual obligations arising from the commercial relationship with the Client as a result of the Client’s contracting of the services:
To provide the Client, with the utmost guarantees, with the service requested by them in accordance with the provisions of the Terms of Contract, without breaching contractual good faith.
To expressly inform the Client of the existence of these Terms prior to the commencement of the contracting procedure.
To inform the Client, prior to contracting and in a specific, clear, precise and unequivocal manner, of the specific characteristics of the requested services, such as their price and the applicable taxes.
To make available to the Client a copy of the text of the General Terms.
To confirm to the Client, by email, both their order and the hotel booking, where applicable, providing them with an order number, as well as the effective completion of the contract within a maximum period of 24 hours from the Client’s acceptance of the Terms of Contract, both General and Particular, set out in their order.
b. Obligations of the Client: For their part, the Client undertakes to:
Fully comply with the provisions of these Terms relating to the services provided by Equinoccio Viajes.
Complete the registration forms prior to the commencement of the contracting procedure with truthful and up-to-date information.
Correctly provide the requested banking details, given that Equinoccio Viajes reserves the right to change the collaborating banking institution, undertaking to inform the Client of the current banking institution through these Terms of Contract.
Refrain from sending messages that, in any way, prevent or hinder the normal operation of the service. In any event, the Client shall be the sole and entire party responsible for the content of the messages they write or send, as well as for the data they provide and for any unlawful or illegitimate use of the website’s content.
Pay the price of the services, with the lodging of a complaint or claim not exempting them from this obligation.
In the case of a hotel booking, to comply with the particular rules of the hotel establishment whose services are used, as well as to observe the rules of hygiene, courtesy and good manners towards the other users and the staff of the hotel establishment providing the service.
c. Rights of the Client: All information provided to the Client shall be binding on the offeror under the terms established in the Terms of Contract and, failing that and insofar as it does not conflict with the provisions herein, under the legislation in force. Every Client of the contracted services has the right for the goods and services they acquire to be of the quality, category and requirements contracted, pursuant to the Consumers and Users Act and these General Terms and Conditions of Contract. In the case of a hotel booking, all hotel establishments are obliged to make a complaints book available to the client in which to record their complaints. To make a complaint, fill in your personal details and indicate the reason for the complaint.
METHOD OF PAYMENT AND PRICE
The prices and rates applicable to the user’s contracting of the services shall be those appearing on the website owned by Equinoccio Viajes at the time the user accesses the specific service and proceeds to begin the contracting process.
Equinoccio Viajes reserves the right to modify the rates published on the aforementioned website whenever it deems it appropriate.
CANCELLATION POLICY
For Professional Accreditations, tastings and workshops:
- No charge until 30 August 2026.
- 50% charge from 1 September 2026 to 25 October 2026.
- From 26 October 2026, 100% charge.
General admission: 100% charge, NON-refundable.
Cancellation of the booking. The booking made may be cancelled by email to clientes@reservasequinoccioviajes.com, or by telephone on +34 943216580, always indicating the booking reference number. In the event of cancelling the hotel booking, the legal regulations governing travel agencies, accommodation and tourist services shall apply, which include management and cancellation charges. Any bank charges generated by booking cancellations shall be borne by the client.
MODIFICATION OF THE BOOKING
The hotel booking made may be modified at a later time by email to clientes@reservasequinoccioviajes.com, by telephone on +34 943216580, or by fax on +34 943473341, always indicating the booking reference number. Offers shall be valid only during the period set by Equinoccio Viajes in the advertising or, failing that, during the time they are accessible to clients for effective contracting.
SECURITY IN CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
Equinoccio Viajes uses the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode authentication systems, which provide a high degree of security in Internet purchases by verifying the cardholder’s identity before approving the purchase.
To verify the identity of the holder of the card with which payment is to be made, the entry of a specific code or secret password for Internet purchases is required (similarly to how ATMs operate), known only to the legitimate cardholder. If you do not have this code or password for Internet purchases, you can obtain it by following the steps indicated by the browser, as it will connect with your bank. This information is not shared with the store/business, as this window is being shown to you directly by your bank (through the 4B System).

VALIDITY PERIOD OF THESE TERMS
The validity period of these Terms shall be the time during which they remain published on the website, and they shall apply to the services acquired at the time such Terms were available. In any event, Equinoccio Viajes reserves the right to modify them unilaterally, without this affecting the services contracted by Clients prior to the modification, except in those cases in which the Client has changed or modified the contracted service, in which case the conditions in force at the time of the change and/or modification shall apply.
NULLITY AND INEFFECTIVENESS OF THE CLAUSES
If any of the clauses included in these Terms is declared wholly or partially null or ineffective, such nullity shall affect only that provision or the part of it that is null or ineffective, with all other terms remaining in force.
APPLICABLE LEGISLATION AND JURISDICTION
The client accepts that the legislation applicable to the operation of this service is Spanish law and submits to the Jurisdiction and Courts of San Sebastián for the resolution of disputes arising from the interpretation and application of this contract.
LEGAL NOTICE ON THE INSTRUCTIONS
By accepting these provisions, the Client undertakes to use this website and the services made available on it in the manner and form established therein, in accordance with these instructions, being obliged not to use the website and its services for illegitimate purposes and/or purposes contrary to those established in this legal notice, that could be harmful to the rights and/or interests of third parties, or that could in any way damage this website or prevent its proper operation or that of the services offered on it now or in the future. Likewise, the Client shall refrain from obtaining, directly or indirectly, the content provided on the website by illegitimate, unlawful or fraudulent means, theft or plagiarism thereof, or in any other manner contrary to the provisions of the Criminal Code and the applicable regulations. Equinoccio Viajes reserves the right not to grant access to the website, without prior notice, to any Client or third party who contravenes the provisions of these general terms and conditions of contract. For their part, the Client undertakes not to make illegitimate or unlawful use of the website’s content, or any use that may directly or indirectly cause damage and/or harm to Equinoccio Viajes. Therefore, the Client shall refrain, by way of example and not limitation, from modifying, copying, distributing, publishing, assigning and/or selling any information or appearance concerning the website owned by Equinoccio Viajes.
